Frequently Asked Questions

NAR Tech Edge events teach REALTORS® the latest business technology skills and trends changing the real estate industry. Register for one of these professional development events and walk out with action items to build your business.

What is NAR Tech Edge?

NAR Tech Edge is a full-day professional development conference focused on how technology is impacting real estate businesses. Each event reflects the local market needs and trends on technology. These events are filled with rapid-fire sessions from national speakers and local tech experts. Attendees will learn immediate ways to implement technology trends in their practice.

What is the cost?

NAR Tech Edge registration is just $49 for REALTOR member when you register early (up to one week before the event). That cost includes the full day of content, plus lunch! REALTORS® who register after the early bird cutoff still pay only $59.

Non-members can also attend for $79 early bird/$89 standard registration.

You can also register on-site the day of the event, space permitting.

What sorts of topics are covered?

Topics at NAR Tech Edge can vary from location to location, but a standard sampling of topics might include: Content Creation, Online Reputation Management, Mobile Integration, Online Branding, Smart Home Technology, Consumer Preferences, and more!

Can I bring someone with me?

All attendees at NAR Tech Edge events must be registered for the event. You can register more than one person at once, so if you and other agents at your office all want to attend, registration can be done at one time. Both REALTOR members and non-members can attend, but all attendees must have a registration for the event. Attendees can register on site if there’s space available.

Where are events hosted?

There are between 8-9 NAR Tech Edge events each year. For a complete list of event locations and dates for this year, visit the Events page. You can also view past event locations.

How can NAR Tech Edge come to my area?

Working with local real estate boards allows us to create a balance between national and local speakers, as well as provide an increased value to attendees by focusing on technology trends and timely topics in the local market.

Realtor associations can submit the Association Checklist agreement, which outlines the basic requirements for NAR Tech Edge events. This agreement allows us to contact the best person at your board for more information. Only a handful of events are offered each year around North America, so please supply as much information as you deem necessary in helping us select locations.

Does NAR Tech Edge count for continuing education credit or toward other designations?

As a professional development event, NAR Tech Edge does not count for credit toward any NAR Designations or Certifications.

Continuing Education offerings for NAR Tech Edge depends on the location. Please visit the Events page for more details on which events might be eligible for CE in the state.

I registered for an event in my area but can no longer attend. What is the Refund Policy?

With just a handful of events all around the country each year, we know many attendees may have to travel a bit to attend the nearest event. We try to accommodate as many requests as possible, but do have a 24 hour in advance refund policy. Please email techedge@realtors.org with your request at least 24 hours in advance of the event date.

My company would be interested in sponsoring an event. Where can I find more info?

Each NAR Tech Edge event has options and pricing for National Level Sponsors (Silver, Gold, Platinum) and Local Level Sponsors (Breakfast, Snack, etc). Please contact techedge@realtors.org for more details or visit the sponsorship opportunities page
